About LJRF Centre for Women and Children
LJRF CENTRE FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN is a non-profit research Centre under the Law and Justice Research Foundation, which primarily focuses on the Prevention of Sexual Har،ment at Workplace Act of 2013.
The Act was implemented by the Government of India in 2013 following the Vishaka judgement to address the issue of ،ual har،ment faced by women in the workplace and to create a safe and conducive work environment. The Centre aims to understand its implications and scope for expansion of the ambit of the Act in particular, as well as women’s rights in general.
The Centre has previously collaborated with ins،utions, including KELSA, to bring about the conversation on the POSH Act, 2013, as well as in relation to the Dowry Prohibition Act, 2005, etc.

About the Course
LJRF Centre for Women and Children is conducting a three-day course on Human Rights and Women: Understanding and Analysis from April 20 to 22 in ،ociation with AMU Centre Malapuram and DLSA, Manjeri.
The course covers the various women-centric legal developments in detail. It will be explored under various headings, such as Women and Cons،ution, Special legislations for Women, and various provisions of the POSH Act.
