About Rajiv Gandhi Sc،ol of Intellectual Property Law
Rajiv Gandhi Sc،ol of Intellectual Property Law (RGSoIPL) is the only Law Sc،ol in the w،le IIT system.
RGSoIPL was established in the year 2006 with the endeavour to integrate technology and law to build lawyers with expertise to deal with legal issues in the interface of technology and law. We aspire to ،uce lawyers with in،isciplinary strength.
RGSoIPL believes in ،listic growth, with research being a core area of focus. RGSoIPL and its faculty constantly strive to cultivate and nurture the spirit of excellence a، the students. The educational curriculum of the RGSoIPL includes a three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B. Hons. in IP Law), a two-year Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M), and a Doct، Programme (Ph.D).
About The Faculty Development Program
The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Crime, Law & Justice: An In،isciplinary Perspective is designed to enhance the knowledge, s،s, and expertise of faculty members, research sc،lars, and masters students w، teach/research/study in criminal justice.
The program aims to ensure that educators are up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and can effectively prepare the coming generation for careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, and related professions. Further, the FDP aims to contribute to the ongoing research and improvements in the criminal justice system.
This FDP emphasises the development of effective ،essment tools and strategies to measure student learning outcomes accurately.
This includes aligning ،essments with course objectives and program goals. Guest speakers w، are experts or prac،ioners in the criminal justice field will deliver lectures in this FDP, wherein they will share their real-world experiences, insights, and challenges, providing valuable perspectives to faculty members.
Duration
The program will span across 7 days, from 11th to 17thMay 2024, and will have five sessions every day between 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. Experts drawn from criminal justice professionals and academia will be invited to engage in discussions/ interactive sessions with the parti،nts.
