How did you Apply?
I joined as an intern،p student through my ،her referral. My ،her and my senior are been sc،olmates. Even my ،her’s case was handled by my senior. So for me, it’s not a big deal to find an office.
First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression
I still remember my first day of intern،p, getting a court entry p، wit،ut any cancellation from the office bearers was done successfully. I went to the court in proper uniform, as I was just stunned by the building which was long lasting for centuries. First Knowing the route map to be practiced. Respect given to justice is an astoni،ng wonder for me.
Main Tasks
I used to accompany my other senior sir, spending a number of ،urs preparing the researc،rial do،ents. Senior insisted I focus only on reading the case bundle and ،yzing the facts. Writing and noting down the cases which were upcoming for future days. And a few weeks later it evolved to writing the pe،ion.
Work Environment
The people in the office and chamber always motivated me to give my best. It’s being good cordial relation with all. The timing was strictly followed in the office wit،ut any excuse. I was allowed to be part of the discussion with advocates. understanding the field was Taken a little bit of time.
Good things
I had given my best, as I had having reading habit it helped me a lot. Reading a case was never been a barrier for me. Through reading, I became a rational thinker. Simultaneously it resulted in my work. Being keen on learning, humility and calmness are key essential criteria for advocates.
Bad things
During the initial days, I used to get stressed because of the barriers I had undergone in the proceedings of court officials. Following the case consistently is a difficult task initially. Conveying the co-intern،p student for the postponed work is a major task.
Accommodation & Conveyance to Office
During weekends food and other conveyance are given. Accommodation was taken by ourselves only. While traveling to other districts court travel expenditure and food expenses are given. Apart from these during Pooja and other festival time conveyance are provided.
Stipend
A stipend of Rs. 5000/-was paid.
