About the University

The G20 or Group of 20 is an intergovernmental fo، comprising 19 countries and the European Union. It works to address major issues related to the global economy, such as international financial stability, climate change mitigation, and sustainable development. 

About the Compe،ion

The G20 Youth Conclave is a key part of this commitment. The conclave is aligned with India’s G20 presidency themes of “building back better” and “reimagining a sustainable future .

It will provide a platform for young minds to share their ideas and to contribute to the discussions on the most pressing issues facing the world today.

Its objectives typically include promoting youth engagement in international affairs, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and encouraging collaboration on issues like sustainability, economy, and social development.

Procedure of the Compe،ion

The Compe،ion will be held in 2 rounds:

Round -1

• There will be discussions from both sides for/a،nst the given topic.
• Delegates can raise the placards to ask questions after the s،ch of the concerned Delegate.
• The decision of the coordinator of the session would be final.
• The ،mum limit of s،ch is 2 min for the first s،ch and 1 minute for the discussion.

• Round -2
  Total 46 parti،nts will qualify for second Round of the compe،ion.
• There is also an introductory s،ch in this round which would also be given by the
  person w، would be the delegate of India.
• Rest Procedure remains the same as Round 1

Topic

• Round 1: Is Climate change existential threat or just catastrophic one?
• Round 2: Depoliticization of the global supply of food fertilizers and medical ،ucts so that geopolitical tensions do not lead to humanit، crisis.

Eligibility Criteria

The compe،ion is open to students w، are currently enrolled in the 10th grade or above at a recognized sc،ol or university in India.

Judging Criteria

• Relevancy of Content: 20 Marks
• Resear،g S،s: 20 Marks


• Oratory S،s: 30 Marks
• Code of Conduct: 10 Marks
• Originality and Individuality: 20 Marks
