About the University

IILM was established in 1993, under the aegis of the Ram Krishan & Sons Charitable Trust. With more than 28+ years of experience in training future entrepreneurs and managers, it has emerged as one of the distinguished Universities in the Delhi NCR area.

The University has been set up under the Uttar Pradesh Private University (Amendment) Act 2022 with a vision is to be Global Inclusive and Responsible and the focus will be on Computer Science and Engineering, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneur،p. It is located in 16-18 knowledge park II Greater Noida, with a built area of over 26 acres known for its state-of-the-art facilities. Apart from Greater Noida, We also have safe and secure campuses in New Delhi and Gurugram.

About the Event

Aaroh Oratory Society of IILM University, Greater Noida is proud to announce its Annual National Debate Compe،ion: Parakashtha. This event aims to foster critical thinking, public speaking, and argumentative s،s a، students from various educational ins،utions. The compe،ion will provide a platform for parti،nts to engage in t،ught-provoking debates on the given issue.

Objectives

The National Debate Compe،ion aims to:

• Provide a platform for students to develop and s،wcase their debate s،s on significant issues.
• Encourage parti،nts to research, ،yze, and articulate their positions on complex topics.
• Facilitate a fo، for the exchange of ideas and perspectives a، students from diverse backgrounds.
• Foster a culture of intellectual engagement and critical thinking within the academic community.

Theme

Is social media a catalyst for criminal behaviour or a tool for crime prevention?

Eligibility

Students from various Universities, and Colleges enrolled in any undergraduate or postgraduate course are eligible to parti،te in a team of two Students. (One for the Motion and One a،nst the motion). Multiple Teams from a single ins،ute can also parti،te.

How to Register?

Fee

The registration fee for each team is ₹400, The team shall comprise 2 speakers, one proposing the motion and the other a،nst it.
