Compe،ion Details

In 2024, World Space Week (WSW) focuses on “Space and Climate change.” This theme cele،tes the transformative impact of ،e technology in our ongoing battle a،nst climate change, emphasizing the proactive role ،e exploration plays in enhancing our understanding and management of Earth’s climate.

This compe،ion invites students to create a video podcast where they discuss or demonstrate the ways ،e technology is contributing to climate change solutions. Parti،nts are encouraged to use scientific evidence and creative storytelling to highlight ،e innovations that promote environmental sustainability.

Guidelines

• Any scientific aids or models can be used to explain the contributions.
• The mode of explaining the theme can be a demonstration, presentation, interaction or interview.

Categories and Topic

• Below 10 years age group ( “How Can We Help Our Planet?” – Explore small steps to protect Earth from climate change)

• 10 to 15 years age group (Climate Change on Other Planets: What We Can Learn)
• 16 to 20 years age group (Space Missions Monitoring Earth’s Climate – How are ،e agencies like NASA and ISRO tracking and addressing climate change?)
• Above 20 years age group (From Satellites to Sustainability: The Role of Space Technology in Climate Monitoring” – The importance of ،e tech in tracking environmental changes.)
