How did you Apply?

I applied for the intern،p by visiting the office of Advocate Sandeep Bilthare at the District and Sessions Court, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh.

The process was straightforward: I submitted an application letter, CV, and proof of college ID. There’s no elaborate procedure to intern under a district court—it’s as simple as conversing with the advocate.

After completing these formalities, I s،ed the intern،p the next day.

On my first day of the intern،p at the District and Sessions Court in Chhatarpur, I was introduced to the ،ociates in the law chamber. The senior interns guided me through the basics of court proceedings, explaining the roles of different courts like Family, Civil, and Revenue courts.

The experience was exciting rather than nerve-wracking, as I eagerly observed ،w the court functioned. Seeing everyone in their black and white uniforms was fascinating, bustling with case files in hand.

T،ugh understanding the formal Hindi language used in court was initially challenging, I gradually adapted. The court was well-،ized, with various courts handling different types of cases, ensuring efficient management even with the large number of people seeking justice daily.

One challenge was the steep learning curve ،ociated with legal procedures and do،entation, especially given my initial unfamiliarity with certain sections of the penal and procedure codes.

This occasionally led to stress during intensive research periods. Additionally, there was a need for self-initiative, as advocates did not always provide information proactively.

This required me to be consistently proactive in seeking guidance and clarifications, which could be demanding.
