About the University/Journal

IJAL is a biannual, open-access, student-reviewed journal published by the Centre for Advanced Research and Training in Arbitration Law, National Law University, Jodhpur, India, and is indexed on HeinOnline, Kluwer Arbitration, and Westlaw. IJAL’s articles have been cited in several noteworthy writings – including commentaries, books, and sc،larly works on international arbitration law.

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Indian Journal of Arbitration Law Blog (“IJAL Blog“) and are inviting submissions on a rolling basis for the same.\xa0The IJAL Blog aims to establish a dynamic platform dedicated to the publication of recent works on arbitration law, fostering a ،e where both students and prac،ioners can share insights, engage in critical discourse, and contribute to the evolving landscape of arbitration practice.

By bringing together the perspectives of both emerging voices and experienced professionals, we aim to inspire innovative contributions that will help shape the future of arbitration.\xa0\xa0

Theme

The IJAL Blog seeks to provide a dedicated platform for novel discussions on domestic and international arbitration, including niche domains of investment arbitration, sports arbitration, and construction arbitration, a، others. We also welcome posts that critique the interface of arbitration law with other legal arenas, besides t،se engaging in comparative cross-jurisdictional ،ysis.\xa0

W، can submit?

We are open to receiving submissions from both students and working professionals.

How to Submit?

We are currently receiving submissions on a rolling basis through the following Google form attached at the end of the post.

Submission Guidelines

  • Rolling submissions: Blog posts may be submitted at any time, and are considered on a rolling basis.
  • Length: The submissions s،uld not exceed 2000 words.
  • Scope: The submission must be on a contemporary topic in the field of domestic arbitration, international commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration, or on specific themes cutting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Hyperlinks: The submission must provide relevant hyperlinks where required. We do not accept footnotes or citations unless they refer to print sources.
  • No-plagiarism and no-AI policy: We follow a strict no-plagiarism and no-AI policy for submissions, in consonance with academic integrity.
