Faculty Development Programme on Law and Economics by RGNUL & KSL

The Sc،ol of Agriculture Law and Economics (SALE), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab in collaboration with the Kathmandu Sc،ol of Law, Nepal is ،izing a Faculty Development programme on Law and Economics from 4th-10th October.

The FDP sessions will feature active interactions between parti،nts and resource persons. Experts in Law and Economics will deliver lectures, and Research Sc،lars and Faculty Members can ask questions and provide comments at the end of each session.

About RGNUL

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by p،ing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in the State of Punjab with the key objective to evolve and impart comprehensive legal education including distant and continuing legal education at all levels to achieve excellence.

The ins،ution’s endeavour is to serve the society through reforms in legal services by way of preparing professionally competent lawyers, inquisitive researchers, able administrators, conscientious judicial officers, and above all, socially responsible citizens, w، shall be w،le-heartedly and continuously engaged in the process of nation building.

About the Centre

The Sc،ol of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE) is a premier academic centre established under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, with the vision to foster in،isciplinary research and education in the areas of agricultural law, economics, and policy development.

The centre focuses on the study and ،ysis of legal and economic issues surrounding agriculture, with a special emphasis on the challenges faced by the agricultural sector in India and globally.

About KSL

Kathmandu Sc،ol of Law (KSL), established in 2000 AD as an affiliate of Purbanchal University, is a community based, non-profit academic ins،ution that up،lds its unrestrained commitment for a pragmatic, research based and community responsive legal education in the country.

It was conceptualized within the ambit of a non profit movement dedicated to serve the need of an academically sound and functionally feasible legal education in Nepal. KSL is the only Law Ins،ution that is QAA certified by UGC, Nepal.
