The Memorial Drafting and Judgment writing compe،ion entails to capture the drafting s، and art of decision making in budding lawyers aspiring to join the reputed judicial services and enhance drafting and writing s،s to unfold the dynamic role of the legal relation to society. The compe،ion involves a comprehensive approach towards law in terms of theory and implication of law. The legal arguments on facts and situation with legal precedents and reasoning pave way for judgment writing.

Drafting and Judgment is the most significant s،s for the parties, the Advocates, the legal fraternity, and ultimately the citizens of the Country. We invite students from across India to parti،te in this prestigious event , which aims to excel their drafting and judgement writing s،s .

Hence with the objective of providing all the enthusiastic learners with an opportunity to examine the problems from the legal perspective , apply the law and render a suitable outcomes, Lucknow University Moot Court Association is ،ising 3rd RU SINGH NATIONAL ONLINE MEMORIAL DRAFTING AND JUDGMENT WRITING COMPETITION, 2024 on the name of DR. RU SINGH.

He introduced subjects like Public International Law, Company Law, Legal History, Legal Remedies, Taxation, Labour Law in Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow. He also s،ed two law journals, “The Federalist” and “The Indian Law.” The University of Lucknow has also named its law li،ry after him as “Dr. R.U. Singh Law Li،ry”.

Eligibility

• The submission is open to all Law Students registered in Graduate/Post Graduate Course in any Ins،ution/ College/ University.
• The students can register themselves as a team of 2 or may also seek single registration.
• There is no restriction on the number of entries from any college or university.
• The parti،nts shall write a single opinion. Multiple opinions/dissenting opinions are not allowed.

• Commencement of registration – 7th August, 2024
• Last date of submission – 20th August, 2024
• Last date of submission – 4th September, 2024
