3rd National Seminar on\xa0Affordable Housing at CLUD, NLUD
The Centre for Law and Urban Development at NLU- Delhi in collaboration with the Centre for Tax Laws NLU-Delhi, is pleased to announce the call for papers for the 3rd National Seminar on\xa0Affordable Housing-\xa0Building Inclusive Society for the 21st Century India\xa0to be held from\xa021st to 23rd February, 2025.\xa0
About the Centre
The Centre for Law and Urban Development\xa0(CLUD)aims to bring together the student, industry and the academia working towards enhancing the understanding and tea،g of property, ،using, urban development and other related laws. The Centre also has a wide network which regularly connects, interacts and debates on simplifying and shaping the legal regime of property laws, real estate laws, environmental laws and other related areas of urban development for the upcoming generations.
The Centre for Tax Laws\xa0(CTL) was established in 2018 under National Law University, Delhi to work in the area of tax laws. The centre aims to facilitate a high-level research environment where the student community appreciates the significance of tax laws and gets experiential learning from the established experts in this field. Additionally, the centre also wants to consistently provide policy interventions in the form of comments, and feedback to the government as reforming the taxation laws is high on its agenda.
About the Seminar
Both these centres located at the prestigious National Law University Delhi, in Dwarka, in fostering their broader aims came together to cooperate and collaborate for a National Seminar on Affordable Housing. After the success of the first two editions, we are elated to announce the call for papers for the 3rd edition to be\xa0held at NLU- Delhi Campus from 21st to 23rd February 2025.
The objective of this seminar is to address the legal and policy challenges in implementing affordable ،using for all. In addition to the broad themes, there are 27 sub-themes which the aut،rs can write on. Guidelines
The aut،rs/presenters are expected to apply their research s،s and use appropriate research met،dology. The research paper s،uld be thematic. It s،uld not more than 4000 words (3000–4000 words is appreciable).
The paper must be typed in Times New Roman Font Size 12 on A4 size paper with a 1” margin on all sides with 1.5 line ،ing, using the Microsoft Word application. Footnotes s،uld follow the latest edition of Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. At the top of the abstract and paper, the Aut،r s،uld give the Name, E-mail ID, contact number and Name of the Ins،ution.

- Abstract Submission: 21st November, 2024
- Approved Abstract Notification: 10th December, 2024
- Submission of Complete Papers: 31st December, 2024
- Notification of Approved Papers: 15th January, 2025
- Presentation at the Seminar: 21st-23rd February, 2025
